years of experience in delivering compelling, accurate and timely news stories across various media platforms.
For the last 3 years, Vanessa anchored the morning newscast at South Florida’s #1 morning show, Today in Florida.
She was one of three anchors delivering news during the 5-hour daily broadcast.
Prior to working at WSVN in Miami, Vanessa was the morning news anchor on Good Day LA in Los Angeles, CA for 3 years.
She developed segment ideas for the 6-hour morning newscast. She conducted live interviews with politicians, musicians, chefs, celebrities, local figures and reported breaking news regarding local, state, national and international current events.
She covered brush fires, earthquakes, sports championships, red carpets, and the endless Hollywood headlines. Prior to that she produced, reported, and anchored at CBS News in Miami, Florida for nine years.
Vanessa has emceed and hosted dozens of events for organizations, charities, and fund raisers including the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, The American Heart Association Gala, The Tunnel to Towers 5K, and The United States Conference on AIDS.

Vanessa grew up on the sandy beaches of Miami, Florida and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a bachelors of science degree in telecommunications. She now lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband.
